Showing of Yintah, June 21, 2025

Smithers Bridging Committee would like to thank Jen and Molly Wickham and all who attended the June 20, 2025, viewing of the film Yintah at the Gathering Space. Special thanks to Birdy Markert for use of the space. Yintah, the winner of two Canadian Screen Awards- Best Documentary and Best Cinematography- is available for all to view at home: www.yintahfilm.com

The film is powerful: enraing, inspiring, upsetting, beautiful. raw, real, important and a must-see for all those who live on Witsuwit’en territory. Viewing the film as a group was extra special and having Jen and Molly speak of what happened since the film and answer questions made the viewing memorable. We are very grateful to have had this opportunity. Tabi Misiyh’. For further information and to make donations see: www.yintahaccess.com
